SOME OBJECTIVE INFORMATION ABOUT LOCAL OFFSHORE WIND ENERGY PROJECTS.

The South Jersey Chapter would be happy to see wind energy projects off of our coast. But we don’t have an Environmental Impact Statement yet, so we are holding off on any final decision about these projects until we have all of the information.

Note there is a short two-pager here and a longer FAQ about the proposed project here. It is about 15 pages including lots of footnotes.

The official policy on renewable ocean energy from Surfrider Foundation is here. And here is a recorded webinar about wind energy off of NJ presented by Surfrider Foundation’s very on Matt Gove! About one hour long!
