We are so happy to be teaming up with United By Blue for tomorrow's cleanup! United By Blue is a Philadelphia based apparel company dedicated to using the power of business to make a tangible and positive impact on the environment. Since 2010 United By Blue and their volunteers have removed 141,000 pounds of trash from waterways and beaches in 18 states!  And in response to Hurricane Sandy they've created their "AFTER Sandy" initiative that will provide cleanup and relief efforts to the areas that need them most.

We will be meeting at noon at the Aquatic and Fitness Center, 1735 Simpson Ave, Ocean City, NJ, check out the details here Post Sandy Cleanup  and please note that United By Blue will be running a shuttle from Philly so if you need a ride from there be sure to rsvp!!!

UBB will be bringing supplies and we will add to that with our usual bags, buckets, gloves (but bring your own heavy duty if you have them), drinking water for your refillables.  Please remember to dress for the weather, it's supposed to be a beautiful sunny day, and also please wear wellies or sturdy shoes that you don't mind trashing, just in case!

Hope to see you there!!!

Here are some of last weeks's volunteers, we filled the bed of John's truck in just a few hours!
